This old gal has seen some use, and was refinished in the past,as the frame is purplish from the blueing salts not hot enough to blue steel with nickle added to strengthen , As Winchester also added nickle to their barrels many years ago also.This revolver has a 3" octagonal blued barrel, and clean American walnut grips with added finish.Writing on top of the frame flat is shallow in some places. Complete and working however needs tuning-up as hammer doesn;t always lock.Maybe locks about every other time it is cocked.Strong visible rifling with patches of fine pits, not rusted out though.
