This buckle shows normal war-time wear and no defects with raised markings and is an early solid cast aluminum buckle as the date code shows made in 1938..
An identical buckle to this one just sold for E695.00 Euros. The code “822" is believed to be Richard Sieper or C.T. Dicke as makers. I got this right, so you can save big with this buckle.
