Description:
This rifle is #1146, completed August 29th 1827 and remaining in very nice condition. The bore is extremely nice, the lock and set trigger perform perfectly, the ebonized stock has seen quite a bit of use but no abuse. 45 bore or about .47 caliber, it has 12 grooves and a 1:48 rate of twist. The barrel has been re-browned and the maker's address has been refreshed. A very light weight gun at 5lbs on my postal scale. A wonderful rifle for the Whitetail woods.
