This is a stunning LEFT-HANDED .300 Weatherby Magnum Rifle from the Weatherby Custom Shop, this unique firearm was built approximately in 1969 according to Weatherby when I spoke to them on the phone. The build file was missing from their filing system so the lady estimated the date based on the serials before and after, that were built in the custom shop. These guns feature old-time traditional craftsmanship for hunters who love classic styling. Before composite stocks, brushed stainless steel barrels, and Cerakote finishes every Weatherby Mark V® that fell into the hands of lucky hunters was rich walnut and blue steel. The Mark V pays homage to those days of traditional craftsmanship for hunters who still marvel at classic styling. Complete with regal diamond-point checkering, a rosewood forend and grip cap, maple spacers, and this gun with an original Weatherby riflescope. The chambering in the classic .300 Weatherby Magnum ensures that you are be able to take down any wild game in North America and most of the world. First introduced in 1958, the Weatherby Mark V series became renowned for its strong, nine-lug bolt design, engineered to handle the high pressures of Weatherby‚‚s proprietary magnum cartridges. This gun epitomizes the luxury and performance that Roy Weatherby aimed for, featuring a beautifully blued finish and a high-gloss walnut stock with intricate checkering. The grade AA walnut stock is adorned with a rosewood forend piece and grip cap, enhancing both its durability and visual appeal.
