Description: This 1871 NRA Centennial 1971 Single Action revolver is a Colt Single Action Army chambered in .45 Colt. It has a fixed blade front sight, a rear grooved receiver sight, a 7½" blued barrel, a case color hardened frame, a stainless/blued checkered hammer, and gold Colt/NRA medallion grip panels. The left side of barrel is inscribed "1871 NRA Centennial 1971". The left side of the frame is marked "PAT. SEPT. 19, 1871 / JULY 2, 72 JAN.19,75" adjacent to the Rampant Colt Logo. The bottom of the frame has the three digit serial number: NRA397. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT.F.A. MFG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." The right side of the barrel is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". The Bluing is in excellent condition; firearm appears to be unfired; only a very faint turn line is visible on the cylinder. The wood grip panels are likewise in excellent condition with no marks, chips, cracks, or wear whatsoever. The bore is bright and shiny; firearm appears to be unfired.
