Description:
26 inch octagon barrel chambered in 45-90 WCF caliber with full length mag tube. Semi-bright bore with strong rifling. Sights include a German silver blade front and typical buckhorn rear. Barrel and magazine tube are mostly a silver/grey in color. Case colored receiver is mostly a silver/gray/brown. Traces of case color on the hammer and protected areas of the lever. Crisp action. Straight grain walnut stock is in good condition with some dings and mars. A nick out at the comb. Crescent buttplate. This Winchester rifle was made in 1891.
