Description:
I have for sale a very nice Belgium made Browning Pigeon Grade 12 gauge in the very desireable round knob long tang version built in 1966, last year for the round knob, long tang version. This gun has 28 inch barrels, with vent rib, front and mid factory beads, and modified and full chokes. Bottom bore measures .723 with .019 constriction. The top bore measures .723 with .037 constriction. The round knob stock has dimensions of 1 1/2 X 2 1/2 X 14 5/16 over the original Browning butt plate. Cast on the stock is neutral so good for both right and left hand shooters. Forend is the much preferred field style. Weight of the gun is 7 pounds 9 ounces. The stock has some of the best wood I've seen on a Pigeon Grade gun. Lock up is nice and tight with top lever still well right of center. The gold trigger shows no wear indicating the gun has been lightly used. Trigger is selective and ejectors are strong and well timed. Stock has a few marks but nothing that detracts from the appearance of the gun. All finishes on the gun are original and the gun is just as it left the factory. Price of this beauty is $3000 plus $75 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned.
