Description:
One of the great features of the Grade 4 (C Grade) lineup is finding one with Bernard Damascus barrels. This beautiful top lever 12ga hammer gun made with 30" Bernard barrels, splinter forend, double triggers, and extractors. The casehardened frame is beautifully engraved in game scenes and scroll as seen in the photos. Capped pistol grip French Walnut buttstock is very nicely figured and terminates with its original skeleton buttplate.
Gun remains in beautifully preserved condition with barrels retaining nearly all of their Bernard pattern. Engraving remains mostly crisp throughout. Stocks are sound and excellent retaining nearly all of a perfect older professionally restored finish. Skeleton buttplate is excellent as restored. Bores do show some pits. Overall the gun has a wonderful look!
