Up for sale is a 1968 Browing Hi-Power T-Series with serial number T-228xxx with 4 5/8" barrel and two magazines. I am not a collector, but based on reading the NRA grading conditions, I rate this as a high Very Good to Excellent, both exterior and barrel. There is very slight blueing wear on the sharp front edges of the slide. Very slight normal wear scratches (see enlarged images to check detailed finish). Anything that looks like a scratch is not how it appears in-person and under normal light. The lighting used for the photos tends to make even the slightest blemish look worse (by far) than it actually is. Grips are excellent.
The frame,slide and barrel all bear the same three proof stamps including the "W" stamp of the inspector (Nicolas Wolf active 1952-1968). See picture #7 for an example of these proof marks.
