Description:
Remington 1100 Factory wood, Buttstock and Fore end. This was probably made for a 70s or 80s Remington 1100, 12 ga. 2 3/4" Shotgun. It has not been on a gun, it has been kicking around my shop for many years. It was ordered for a customer by my local gunstore and never picked up. They held on to it for a year or two, and one day, Our Hero (me), walked in to the shop and made an offer that they did not refuse. I always hoped that I would find a nice servicable 1100 with a broken stock that I could get at a good price and fix it up. One will probably come along right after I sell this set. As you can see from the pictures, the wood is in great shape with only minor handling marks. It has the pressed in checkering that Remington had at that time. It also has a thin piece of curved sheet metal that was inside of the fore end. I don't know what that is but I included it in the pictures just in case. Maybe now is the time to spruce up that old Classic 1100 Remington.
