For your consideration, the FN-49 semi-auto rifle chambered in 7mm Mauser. The FN Model 1949 or FN-49 is a semi-auto rifle made by FN in Belgium. Primarly for export to foreign militaries as a battle rifle. There were also automatic versions made, but with the limited magazine they weren't very useful. 7x57 Mauser
