Not very often do I get excited posting an ad for a Model 12 field gun (unless its a 28 ga!) but here is an exception...
Winchester Model 12 Field, circa 1940; 16 gauge, 30" barrel with solid rib AND modified choke. 16 gauge Model 12 field is nothing special but add four collectible features: 30" barrel that is choked Modified instead of full and with a solid rib and it is factory 2 3/4" chamber and made pre-war in 1940..now you have an exciting Model 12 field!
Condition is a solid 95%+ and if not for the light scratches on the receiver I would easily call it 97%.
Please note: Behind the trigger screw there is a small area in the buttstock where some glass bedding was added for strength.
