The rifle is clearly marked as follows: Top Tang "Model 1894 -Winchester- Trade Mark", bottom near forearm "Serial Number", top of barrel "-Manufactured By The- -Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven CONN. U.S.A.-". Overall it is in very good condition to excellent for it's age and use.
