For your consideration, the Enfield SHT LE III bolt-action rifle chambered in .303 British. This rifle was made in 1918, as the SHT LE or short magazine Lee-Enfield, these were later called SMLE which meant the same thing. Unable to determine the manufacturer, though most likely BSA. The stock matches the rifle serial number .303 British
