Description:
The Colt® 1991 Series 80 Stainless Semi-Auto Pistol is a direct takeoff of the standard-issue M1911 sidearm originally manufactured by Colt and used by the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. The 1991 Series has many of the original features as the M1911, including a spur hammer, flat main spring housing, a long trigger, grip safety and thumb safety. Upgrades to the 1991 include tighter manufacturing tolerances and a lowered ejection port. The pistol's stainless steel construction resists corrosion. Diamond checkered grip panels enhance the beauty and nostalgic feel of the weapon, as well as offer a secure grip without aggressively sharp edges.
