This modernized cartridge had a new name—. 38 Super—and the only improvement amounted to nothing more than the cartridge being loaded to a higher pressure: 36,500 psi, as compared to 26,500 psi. The Colt M1911 pistol has been a favorite for 100 years as a service pistol, law enforcement pistol, and personal defense firearm. This pistol features a bright stainless finish, C-More sight, and steel frame. This firearm is being offered by the Boise Cabela's Gun Library.
