Description:
The Model 1913, aka the Model 35, Smith and Wesson was built to compete with pocket autoloaders developed by Colt/Savage/Browning and has the distinction of being the first semi-auto produced by S&W. It went through design changes in 10 years and this believed to be of the 7th iteration. It has some unique characteristics including a safety button under the trigger guard, a recoil spring in the tube above the barrel, and it is chambered in .35 S&W AUTO. The cartridge being similar to the .32 ACP in power. There were a total of about 8350 of these pistols produced.
