Serial #223095, .308 Winchester, 22 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Remington Model 740 Woodsmaster semi-automatic rifle manufactured in 1958. The early rifle remains in excellent condition retaining virtually all, 98-99% of the original blue finish on the barrel and frame with some scattered handling marks. The walnut stock and forearm rate excellent with very minor handling and storage marks. The gun is sighted with a receiver mounted Lyman peep sight and ivory bead front sight. It comes with one original 4 round magazine. An excellent example of a classic Remington deer rifle. FFL or C&R
