Up for sale is a from my understanding, 1986 Remington 1100 LW Skeet shotgun in the rare 28 caliber! I inherited it from my wife's late grandfather. He bought it to go duck hunting with my father-in-law but before they were able to go, my wife's parents split up in a rather ugly divorce. Talking with my wife's grandmother this week about the shotgun, she said he never went hunting (lost his shooting buddy) and the shotgun sat. I've looked over the shotgun and it does appear to be unfired, but buy the gun not the story from what they say. But truthfully I do believe her and it does appear unfired. Sadly the original box was kept, but discarded at the time of his death a couple years back. No I didn't do it.
Shotgun would clean up to appear as new as a shotgun at your local gun store. I do know this shotgun was apparently bought at an Ace Hardware in downtown Gastonia, NC if that matters to anyone. (I always like the history of firearms if I can know it)
That is about all I know and ask me any questions or need for more pictures. I haven't taken down the shotgun and more than likely will not but I can hear the original magazine tube limiter in there. Literally a brand new 1986 1000 LW Skeet 28 gauge here for someone that needs it in their collection.

Also before you look at the pictures, in the checkering on the stock there is some type of dried material that can easily be cleaned out. The checkering is not harmed, the gun just really needs to be cleaned.
