Description:
British flintlock musket 80 cal. In excellent condition for its age. Mechanically fine with a very strong hammer and trigger. My research suggests that this was manufactured in 1680 to 1720. This musket was prior to the brown bess. Proof marks on the barrel has a crown, first letter under the crown first letter is missing than a p. Below that is stamp number 12 , below that is another crown, first letter is illegible, second letter is a V and that should be reproof mark.
Please do your own research on the dating. This gun is ready to go back into action or just become an occassional shooter. Barrel smooth bore. Posiable small trade to offset cost
