Winchester 64, Model 70 "George Hoenig Custom" .270 Winchester. The rifle was custom built by George Hoenig, Boise, ID. Built on a Pre-64 model 70 barreled action with serial number dating it to 1948. The beautiful rifle has an original, pre-64, 24" Winchester model 70 barrel. The high grade English walnut stock is stunning and finished in a hand-rubbed oil finish, and the hand-cut fine-line checkering is exquisite. Never fired, and the pictures tell the story. G.
