Description:
Weatherby Mark V Bolt Action Rifle in .300 Weatherby Magnum. Features a 26-inch Satin black barrel, with 3 Round magazine, finely checkered pistol grip and fore end, and an adjustable trigger. The rifle is based on a 9-lug, push-feed action that has long been considered the strongest action in the world. The bolt has a very short rotation of 54° allowing for quicker reloads and the ability to mount scopes as close to the bore as possible. The forged, one-piece bolt is fluted and has relief ports and a full shroud to protect the user in the case of an ammunition failure. A smooth and silent two-position safety also serves as a bolt lock when in the 'SAFE' position. The .300 Weatherby Magnum is based on the .300 H&H Magnum, and it was developed in 1944. It is still one of the most powerful .30 caliber cartridges and is commonly used by big-game hunters all over the world. Includes a Leupold 3-9 Vari-X IIc scope. This rifle is a Friends of the NRA Gun of the Year #36 of 700. No box. .300 Weatherby Magnum
