Description:
Originally designed for long-range silhouette and handgun hunting, the .357 Maximum was introduced in 1983. Fairly short-lived, as the great performance also had a couple of draw-backs with flame cutting and throat erosion of the forcing cone. This revolver was not shot enough to cause much top strap cutting. The Dan Wesson Model 40 can chamber and fire the .360 Dan Wesson, the .357 Magnum, .38 Special, .38 Long Colt and .38 Short Colt. .357 Remington Maximum
