Sold !!!!! Winchester 1886 saddle ring carbine in 45/90.
This gun was a total build and restoration. Which I'm sure was costly. Last time I checked on just getting a receiver case colored it was $1500. So if you bought a gun and got a deal. Let's say $2500. Had it restored. Professionally. $5000 minimum. And you would wait for probably 6-8 months or longer.
Im gonna price this accordingly.
The action on this feels like new. They used a original barrel. Bore is about 7. The bottom tang is 75xxx.
It letters as a rifle.
There once was a older gentleman in Minnesota that would build these and was very professional in his work. He quit about 10 years ago. Might be one of his. I asked him to find me a cheap rifle and build a carbine in 45-70. Back then it was near $8000. I'm sure there are others who do it. Maybe someone a little less expensive.
