Description:
Sako 85 is a bolt-action rifle produced by the Finnish manufacturer Sako since 2006, and the name signifies that Sako celebrated 85 years that year. The model 85 is marketed as one of Sako's premium models for hunting. The right side of the barrel is marked "CAL. 30-06 SPRG.", "MADE IN FINLAND", and a Finnish proof mark. The left side of the barrel is marked with a factory warning over "IMPORTER – BERETTA U.S.A., Corp., ACKK., MD 20607". The left side of the receiver is marked "SAKO 85 M", the serial number "A07288", and two Finnish proof marks. The front sight is an elevation adjustable patridge blade slotted and pinned in a ramped riser that is screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a windage adjustable square notch leaf dovetailed to a riser that is fixed to the barrel. The receiver is grooved for mounting an optic. The stock is a one-piece checkered wood with a rosewood capped schnabel tipped forend, rosewood capped pistol grip, fluted slightly convex comb with cheek-piece, and black rubber buttpad. This is a factory certified used gun in the factory box with owners manual and cable lock. Overall this one is in excellent condition. .30-06 Springfield
