Description: C550 Browning – Superposed – O/U - 12Ga - Stk# C550 This 1953 dated 12gauge Browning Superposed Grade #1 over under takes 2-3/4 shells. It has 30” tapered round barrels with a fixed Ivory Mid and Front bead mounted on the vented matte rib. The blued action has factory engraved scroll work thought out, with a blued trigger guard, lock lever and trigger. The barrel selector switch is the safety. The bores are in very good condition. The top barrel has a full choke and the bottom is improved modified. The finish is in very good condition. The checkered Walnut butt stock and forend are in good condition with minor handling marks and an unrepaired crack in the forearm on the left side. The butt stock is mounted by a brown Browning recoil pad. The action locks up tight and functions correctly. Length of pull is 14-1/2”. Overall length is 47”. Weight is 8.0 lbs.
