LC Smith/Hunter Arms – Grade #2 - Double – 20Ga - Stk# C555

This straight grip 20Ga. LC Smith, Grade #2, double barrel shotgun with ejectors was manufactured in 1907 at the Hunter Arms Co. Fulton NY. It has 28” steel tapered round barrels that are in very good condition.  The matted rib with “Hunter Arms, Fulton, NY” stamped near the breech, has small mid and large front Ivory beads. The bores are in very good clean condition. The action locks up tight and functions as intended. The action and side plates have tasteful engraving of a grouse and of water fowl. The side plates both bear the LC Smith inscription. The checkered Walnut forend and butt stock are in good to very good condition with the exception of usage and handling marks. The forend schnabel is inlaid with an Ebony insert. The butt stock has been shortened and a Black extended synthetic butt plate installed. This shotgun is in very good condition with the exception usage ware. The length of pull is 13-3/4” left trigger and 14-3/4” right trigger. Overall length is 45”, weight is 6.0 lbs.
