Description:
24 inch round barrel shows about 90% finish. Excellent bore that is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Sights include a Lyman Ivory Bead front with a Sporting rear and Lyman 21 Receiver sight. The receiver shows about 85% finish, the magazine about 90% and the lever about 50% with the balance flaking and turned brown. The metal surfaces overall show only light wear and handling marks. Walnut stocks are solid and full fitting showing very little wear and only light handling marks but does have couple small chips next to the top of the flat steel shotgun style buttplate. Hard to find a 405 caliber Model 1895 in this condition! Manufactured in 1905.
