"Serial No. 326843. Made in 1901, .30-40 Krag, 30" round barrel. Bore is very good with strong rifling visible. Barrel has thinned to a grey patina, receiver is marked “U.S./MODEL 1898.-SPRINGFIELD ARMORY-326843"" Stock is in very good condition with minimal handling wear noted. A sharp ""J.F.C."" cartouche is present. A small crack is visible left side going from the bottom edge of the receiver to the cartouche. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Comes with sling and muzzle cap.
