"SN: 4834984. Bolt-action US service rifle made in 1943. Standard 24"" barrel chambered for .30-06 Springfield, with 9-43 barrel date. Excellent condition with light mechanical wear in the parkerized finish and a few handling marks in the dust cover. Punched flaming bomb mark on barrel suggests the rifle was re-arsenaled, and the only other visible proof marks are ""B"" on the bolt handle and ""B.P."" on the bolt sleeve, in addition to the stock ""P"" cartouche.
