Springfield Model U.S. Rifle M1D Garand is a right-hand semi-auto U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Springfield. It has a 24-inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth walnut pistol grip. The forearm is smooth two-piece hardwood. SA Barrel dated 6 52. The rifle was manufactured Feb 44. M1D Garand sniper rifles were produced by converting standard M1 Garand rifles into a M1D configuration by installing a special M1D Sniper barrel as manufactured at Springfield Armory. This rifle has the correct parts. Includes authentic M2 flash hider by Hart Mfg. Co, correct M84 scope (not reproduction) and vintage MRT 02-52 dated leather cheekpiece. .30-06 Springfield
