6 groove bore. S# C,24714. Bbl. 22" round w/ German silver blade front sight & Lawrence patent rear sight. Single shot action retains the saddle ring bar on the left side, primer feed mechanism is intact on lockplate. Band fastened walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ carbine buttplate. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to gray-brown showing spots of corrosion. Wood has age darkened appearance showing handling marks & small dents. Sound action. Shootable bore is generally bright w/ strong sharp rifling. Missing saddle ring.
