CIVIL WAR MAYNARD 2ND MODEL PERCUSSION CAVALRY CARBINE. 20” rifled .50 caliber barrel with the original sights. U.S. Ordnance inspected on barrel. “A.J.N.”. 1851 and 1858 patent dates on frame. Barrel with 50-60% blue mixed with patina. Nice markings. Stock with the original finish and excellent cartouche. Small chip top left abutting frame. Missing saddle ring and bar and loading lever return spring. Working order and bore with moderate corrosion and darkening but good rifling. Priced reasonably and only needs a few parts.
