"SN: 198339. Made by Izhevsk in 1916 with an 29"" barrel chambered for the 7.62X54mmr cartridge. Rifle hexagonal receiver of the pre-1930 Mosin-Nagants & it is import marked on the right side of the barrel near the front sight. Overall excellent condition with a bright bore that has strong visible rifling. The stock is in especially good condition with none of the handling wear one would expect to see on a military service rifle that went through a couple of world wars. Comes with an 29"" cleaning rod & a 1949 soviet-era web-sling. Consignment.
