Description:
Sale Pending !!

This is perhaps the most unique Winchester M-1 Carbine that I've come across. The serial number is
1288XXX (11/43) and a Block One. It  has all the correct part numbers for this period of mfg (See Inventory).
Beginning w/rthe correct butt plate (Early)to the muzzle (No counter bore). The bluing is almost w/o any
wear (See Pics). All of the parts have a similar contrast w/an olive tone. The barrel has the correct "W"
proof. The bore has a distinct twist  & is bright & shiney (Mint). (The Sling, Magazine & Oiler are for presentation
only and are not included. However I have a limited amount of each for purchase).
The Buttstock has the correct "WRA/GHD Cartouche w/ the faint "Cross Cannons" being adjacent       .
It also has the correct "W" in the sling well w/last 5 digits of the serial number It also has this marking on the correct handguard. This suggest the possibility that this Winchester was mfg for staff officers & above (Any comments fr you afficando's abt this is always appreciated. (There are no Arnsenal rebuild markings of any kind).
This to me is an "NRA  Very Good to Excellent rated firearm. It should appeal to the premier carbine Collector.
The following is an inventory of it's component parts;
Receiver - T2, Rear Sight - T1 (Flip) w/Block "S", Oper Slide Spg Hsg - T2, Barrel - T1 "W" w/proof, Front
Sight - T1 w/Dished mk & UM, Gas Piston Nut - T2, Barrel Skirt - T1, Bolt - T2 w/"W", Firing Pin - T1 w/"w"
