This is a Smith and Wesson model 629-5 revolver with a 4-inch barrel in .44 magnum. It has the target hammer and trigger. Is in very good condition and shows light use. It has a Hogue grip on it and the original S&W grip is included. Both grips are in very good condition. The stainless finish on the gun is in very good condition with only a few light handling marks. Gun does not show holster wear. The action is tight and smooth. The gun has a great trigger with 7 lbs. in double action and 2.5 lbs. in single action. These guns are very accurate and have rear adjustable sights. Both sights are in very good condition. These guns are also very rugged and very reliable. This gun would make a great gun for carrying in the woods with the 4 in. barrel and heavy loads for bear protection. You can also shoot .44 special loads for the range or home defense. These revolvers never misfire. If you have been looking for a model 29, consider this 29-5 at a much lower price. The gun is priced for a quick sale.
