For sale to the highest or "OBO": Remington Model 742 BDL Caliber 30-06 Springfield with Redfield 2x7 Accu-Trac scope.
The back story: rifle had been stored long-term and very deep in man-cave (i.e. my garage). Gal-pal decides to attempt to grow tomatoes via hydroponic method in same location (i.e. very, very high humidity). Result . . . the rifle needs flat-file work to remove surface pitting and a new blue coating. And regrettfully I have neither the time nor workbench for this project.
After 45 years it saddens me to part with it but hopefully it goes to someone who will use it every season. And will enjoy it as I had.
The rifle can shoot a sub 3 inch pattern at 400 yards. Though I'm sure that you're a much better shot than I am.
Finally of note, garage tomato plant yielded no tomatoes . . . zero, zip, nada. And girlfriend is now growing tomatoes outside like the rest of us.
