"Serial No. 3169, made in 1897, .30 US, 28" round barrel marked “MANUFACTURED BY THE/-WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN CONN USA-“The rifle retains 90% plus original with the receiver starting to thin to a brown patina in some areas. Wood is fine with some minor handling marks noted, forearm features an ebony insert at the tip. Rifles mechanics are in excellent working order.
