Pattern 1853 Tower Enfield rifled musket with 1858 dated lock. .577 rifled bore with military adjustable rear sight and post front sight for bayonet use. 3 iron retaining bands and brass butt plate and trigger guard assembly. Condition, Very good with period of use wood splice at butt/toe. No cartouche is evident. Bore is very fine. Mechanically fine
