Description:
Colt 3rd Single Action Army Built for the American Historical Foundation .45 Long Colt one of 25 Built, this is Number 6, D level Engraving. The action and barrel are blued with extensive open scroll engraving and gold inlays. This work is top of the line and was done by Colt in house. The breeches have the Colt tower and the rampant colt inlayed in 24 C Gold, gold inlay border engraving, rampant colt in gold next to patent dates at bottom of frame, gold band at the barrel end, Colt Single Action Army with gold border at left side of barrel, gold band where the frame and barrel come together, One of 25 in gold at the rear of the strap, No. 6 in gold on the bottom of the strap, factory zip strips to prevent cylinder drag are present and have never been removed, labels are attached.
Condition: The pistol remains in as new conditon, Unfired, Cylinder has never been turned, there are now wear marks or any evidece of having ever been out of the case, warning labels are crushed and torn in a couple spots, original display case is as new and present along with order letter and certificate from the American Historical Foundation. 0SO5866A1 DSSSRC $11000.00 Consignment- Please make any offer via email.
