Description:
Winchester Model 64 Standard 25-35 1938 Manufacture. The action is clean with a Lyman peep, nice trigger and no signs of non original condition. The barrel is 24" rear sight is filled, clear markings, all original front sight, barrel is a later Winchester replacement as noted by the P in an oval ahead of the Winchester proof. The stocks are both original 13 1/2" Length of pull to a Winchester steel buttplate, super grade width sling eyes.
Condition: The action has around 20% finish remaining, more at the lever and top and loading gate, action functions well, trigger is nice, the Lyman peep is period correct and in 50% condition. The barrel is a later Winchester replacement as noted by the proof, the rear sight has a filler block, front sight is original with blue loss, there are small scratches and loss to the blue throughout the length of the barrel, 50% overall, bore is really nice. The stocks have scattered handling marks, there is a small gouge to the fore end and wear at the bottom of the grip and at the fore side of the bottom of the butt. 011550671 ADSSRC $2900.00
