Description:
28 1/2" Krupp steel barrels with perfect bores and 99% blueing. Choked Full x Full with ejectors. Sideclips and a Greener crossbolt. This 7 pin Sauer Sidelock action is considered to be as good as if not better than any sidelock made. Intercepting sears. This one is covered in best quality engraving and retains all of its original case coloring. Locks up like new. This gun has 28 1/2" three ring Spezial Gewehr Lauf Stahl Krupp Steel barrels, their best barrel steel reserved for best guns. Chambers are (65mm) 2 1/2" Raised solid file cut rib. Cocking indicators and side clips. Ebony drop points and an engraved pistol grip cap. LOP is 14 1/4" to engraved case colored heel and toe plates. Drop is 1 1/2" and 2 3/8". I believe it is a model XV IP made in 1938. The best Sauer I have owned. Choke constrictions are .040 both barrels. Minimum wall thickness is .032 Right and .033 Left. MAKE AN OFFER
