Description:
Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle 38-40 cal Bore VG strong rifling with fine pitting. Mech VG plus works well and a tight action. Wood is original VG plus with no chips or cracks and fits well to the metal. Has an original 24” Oct barrel full mag with original sights and excellent markings. The receiver has an original dust cover and the top tang is marked Model 1873 and the lower tang has the Serial#147849A mfg’d 1883. Metal overall has a dark aged blue brown patina finish with some pitting on the top of the receiver and the buttplate has some fine pitting. Has an original buttplate with compartment.
