Description:
MAKE AN OFFER 28 1/4" Special steel blued barrels with a matted rib. Clean, shiny, unpitted bores with ejectors and 99% of the original blueing and coin finishes. Made in 1952. 2 3/4 inch chambers and choked .025 and .035 (Modified x Full) Coin finished boxlock action is covered with deep relief game scenes of pheasants, a fox on the underside, and a pair of mallards.  Cocking indicators, double triggers, and an automatic tang safety. Sideclips and a Greener crossbolt.  Engraving is all crisp. Action locks up tight and on face and all numbers match. LOP is 14 1/2" to the hard rubber buttplate. Drop is 1 9/16 inch drop at comb and 2 7/16 inch drop at heel. Weight is 6 lbs. 8 oz. Mechanically excellent with less than expected handling marks on the original finishes. Minimum wall thickness at 6" from the muzzle is .040 Right and .039 Left. A gorgeous example that is like new. MAKE AN OFFER
