Description:
Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle 44-40 cal Bore VG strong rifling with some fine pitting. Mech Exc works well and shows little use. Wood is original no cracks or chips and fits well with original buttplate. Has an original 24” Rd barrel with original sights and VG to excellent markings. The receiver has an original dust cover and the top tang has the Model 1873 marking and the lower tang has the serial #166877 Mfg’d 1884. Metal overall has an aged grey patina finish with some surface rust in a couple spots. The buttplate has a dark aged brown patina finish with some fine pitting.
