Description:
Colt Officers Model Match fitted with a 6 inch tapered heavy barrel, wide spur target hammer, under-cut patridge front sight, Accro adjustable rear sight, target grips, and chambered in .22 Magnum. This early 1960 vintage, Officers Model Match is in excellent condition, retaining 98% original blue finish, with only a very small blemish near the caliber stamping on barrel. The cylinder face, recoil shield, and forcing cone are very clean with only a light turn line on the cylinder itself. The action is crisp with tight lock up, and the bore is clean with strong lands/grooves. The factory full checkered walnut grips are exceptional. The full checkered grips were correct for the first half of the 1960 model year. Colt switched to the "smiley" style, oil finished grips late in the year. During the entire production run of the Officers Model Match, very few were manufactured in this caliber. Published estimates put the total number at about 850, making this gun somewhat rare especially in this condition. Sorry, no box or paper-work. Free Shipping...
