An Early & Scarce Civil War "Hazard Powder Co." Marked Pack Of 6 Waterproof Cartridges For The "Colt Army Pistol" In Excellent Untouched Condition & Dated 1862. The pack has an excellent body and is still sealed all around. These packs are called soft packs as the do not have a wood cover under the paper protecting the cartridges. It has no rips or tears in it. The paper wrap around it is excellent and has very a clear label from top to bottom on it. The label reads, "PRESSED WATERPROOF/CARTRIDGES/FOR COLT'S ARMY PISTOL/PATENTED MARCH 18,1862/MANUFACTURED BY THE/HAZARD POWDER CO./ HAZARDVILLE, CONN." This is A Very Difficult Pack Of Civil War Soft Cartridges To Find For A Percussion Model 1860 Colt Revolver Especially In This Excellent Condition. They Are Very Hard To Come By As They Get Damaged very Easily!
