An Early U.S. Civil War Sealed Eley Bros. Tin Of 250 Percussion Caps Made Expressly For "Colt's Patent" Repeating Rifles In Fine Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The tin has an excellent body and is still sealed. It retains nearly all of its original blue paper wrap on it except for a couple of tiny pieces missing. It still has its green "Colt's Patent" Label on it. The label reads, "ELEY BRO'S/WATERPROOF/CENTRAL-FIRE/CAP'S/MADE EXPRESSLY FOR/COLT'S PT./REPEATING/RIFLES/MANUFACTURED. LONDON". The tin has a wonderful untouched look to it. Original Eley Bros. Sealed Cap Tins Are Very Difficult To Find. This Is A Very Fine Example Of One!
