Description:
Dating of the receiver by S/N places this rifle as manufactured in 1911. The .218 Bee barrel came along after 1939. This rifle has seen things, and shows honest scars. It would make a great conversation piece and shooter for the Winchester fan. .218 Bee

Chambers: 5 rounds (est) in tubular half-mag.
Metal Condition: "Good. The receiver shows a bit of blue wear, some very shallow pitting and a few scratches. The magazine tube appears to have been shortened. The barrel is a Model 65 replacement barrel.
Wood Condition: "Good. It may have been lightly sanded, and refinished, but it was long ago and appears aged a bit.
Bore Condition: Shiny and bright. Rifling appears a bit shallow.
Barrels: "24-1/2 inches, stamped Model 65.
Triggers: Factory trigger.
Stock Dimensions:
LOP: 13 inches.
Fore End: Walnut.
Butt Pad: Curved steel plate.
Weight: 6 lb - 10 oz.
Sights: Bead and notch "iron" sights.
