This is a Maltby No. 4 MK I made in Maltby, South Yorkshire, England. The ROF (Royal Ordnance Factory Maltby) also made the Sten Machine Gun and is renowned for the quality of workmanship. Numbers matching on the receiver, bolt and magazine as can be seen in pictures. Outstanding overall condition for age with excellent bore. Functions as it should, Wood is very good as are mechanicals. Bolt operates smoothly. Included are the bayonet,scabbard and frog, sling, action cover, 2 clips, and a oiler which fits in the door on the Brass butt plate. Will be shipped in the wool rifle cover it's been stored in for years. I'm 81 and time to sell my collection, see my other listings on this site. Shipping $70, FedEx with full insurance.
